Low Emission Glass
Low Emission Glass or Low-E Glass (low emissivity) allows light to pass through with lower transference of energy by conduction, maintaining the intended luminosity in an inside space, saving energetic costs. It is a good investment and decreases the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
A ordinary glass has an emissivity around 0,39 W/m² (Watts per square meter), while the Low Emission Glass presents one of at most 0,03 W/m².
Being composed of a coat of noble metal, mainly of silver, the Low Emission Glass or Low-E Glass has a great resistance capacity to the energetic transmission.
