Laminated Glass
The laminated glass is a type of glass that when broken keeps the pieces together. It is built with two or more glass sheets, which are joined by two or more layers of intermediary polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or EVA.
When broken the pieces stay glued to this layer. This feature produces a “spider web” effect when the impact is not strong enough to make a hole in the glass.
The laminated glasses with acoustic control can cushion sound frequencies allowing a better and expectable acoustic insulation.
The best solution to gain excellent results regarding solar control, such us, solar transmission and reflexion is using laminated glass with solar control, an achievable solution when combing different metalized glasses of different and alternative performances of coloured glass.
Laminated glasses filter 99,6% of ultraviolet radiation, inclusively colourless glass.
